Photographer 2019 - 2021

 

Barney Douglas, has worked professionally within the photographic and advertising industries for over 35 years and for the past ten years has run Hangleton Lane Studio at Ferring. (* see footnote)

 

When Barney first heard about Emma Green's Prom Dreams he offered not only to photograph the entire collection of dresses, suits and accessories, he also offered to build Prom Dreams' website, calling on years of experience dating back to when he was one of the original sales, marketing and creative content team at yell.com

Barney is the highest rated commercial photographer worldwide on the world's largest freelancing website and a scout to several major model agencies.  He carries £5m professional public liability insurance and is DBS checked.

​

Barney is (semi-)retiring at the end of 2021 but will be continuing to support Prom Dreams and new photographer Liam Taylor (see below) for the foreseeable future.

* Footnote:  Please be aware that, because of impending development of the whole area for housing, Hangleton lane Studio is closing at the end of 2021, and Barney is moving his operations to another location.

Photographer 2022 onwards

​

Liam Taylor has worked as Barney's assistant primarily on video work for the past year.  He is also an accomplished stills photographer and photographic drone operator.

​

Liam takes over as Prom Dreams' photographer in 2022 and will be working from facilities at Prom Dreams' planned charity shop in Horsham.
